FROM HOTCHKISS, COLORADO
Stillbound was built around a liquid that had never had a name. The pommeau spends two years in oak. The brandy spends five. Nothing in the production of Stillbound happens quickly.
It seemed wrong to build a brand around it that did.
There is a faster version of this. Take a finished liquid, put it in a beautiful bottle, and launch the brand in a quarter. We chose the other version.
Not because the obvious path was wrong. Because it would have produced a brand that looked like what it was: a good product with a wrapper around it. And that has never been the point.
Stillbound is made in Hotchkiss, Colorado. Pommeau, two years in oak. Brandy, five.
